In my class, you can expect lots of attention to form. Music is my JAM and I love making playlists. I expect a lot from my girls in my hour with them and you can bet I will push you to your max while maintaining respect for what your limitations and goals are. I love getting to know everyone on a personal level and you can guarantee I will know your name by your second or third class
A Note From Sherri
In my classes, it is all about YOU. I will encourage you to dig deep, and truly challenge yourself. Why? Because YOU are worth the effort! I design my classes to be safe and effective for every fitness level, and offer specific modifications for those just starting their fitness journey or recovering from injuries. Proper form and alignment are always the focus, along with using the correct techniques to isolate specific muscle groups, delivering a powerful, full body workout. I want you to celebrate your body, and all the incredible things of which it is capable!
A Note From Ali
In my class, you will get a very detailed description and/or demonstration on proper form. I believe proper form and execution of every exercise should be the foundation of your experience at Barre 11. I'm always willing to help give modifications to make an exercise appropriate for everyone. I love seeing clients working hard to master a move that has been difficult for them. My classes focus on using small movements with the utmost control. My motto is: "It doesn't have to be big or fancy to be effective!"
A Note From Katie
My name is Katie Jubenville and as a former collegiate dancer, and current dance teacher and dance fitness instructor and YOUR Barre Instructor my approach is simple: take more chances, dance more dances. What do I mean? In my class I want YOU to push yourself right past YOUR current level of comfort. I want YOU to take that chance and find the next level of fitness YOU are looking to achieve. I want YOU to forget about all the distractions that currently reside in YOUR life and give one hour of total focus to our dance. I consider us dance partners and it’s my job to make sure you are a star! Take more chances, do more dances and do it with me at Barre11.

Whether you are a new barre baby or a seasoned warrior, I will do my best to challenge you in my classes. FORM is my obsession with this method. I love to encourage you to find that mind/body connection while training your body in the correct and proper placement. Even though you may be taking my "basic" class, it's not going to be "easy"!!!
A Note From Paula
No matter your fitness level, it's my number one goal for you to leave feeling challenged, strong and powerful...never defeated. Expect to have fun!! I want you to enjoy the process as much as the results. Just because we are working hard doesn't mean we have to be serious the entire class! I love your feedback during class..so don't be afraid to share! A great playlist can make a good class great. Most of my playlist are throw backs from the 80s or 90s...so you'll probably know all the words! Oh, one last thing, I lose count when I go over 8 so don't hold it against me!

I like to create an environment where the client feels comfortable to trust that they will feel a release from their day to day activities. This is a one hour class to celebrate, honor, and love what your body is capable of while connecting your mind, body, and spirit. You can expect high energy and positive affirmations during my class. I like to incorporate smooth transitions while combining workouts that honor your fitness level. At the end of class you can trust you'll receive a savanna with an inspirational quote. My goal is to dedicate myself so the client can leave class with a clear mindset and intention for the rest of the week!
A Note From Melissa
My goal as an instructor is to provide the quality classes that I expected and received as a Barre 11 client. I love the challenge of intense thigh and seat work, the heat of arm and shoulder work and I'm a huge fan of calf-work and wide-second position, so you'll most likely experience these in all my classes. I want to make intentional movement fun and rewarding. My taste in music is all over the place, so my playlists are fun and diverse. I'm all about form, encouragement and feedback, so I'm constantly talking to my class and seeking responses.
I strive to pass my excitement and passion for this method on to all those who attend my classes.
A Note From Jennifer
My class (FUSION) is an eclectic blend of traditional Yoga and Barre movements infused with non-traditional methods. I believe alignment of the body corresponds to alignment of the mind. Emphasis to alignment is the main theme to the class structure, yet action is more important than form. Therefore, modifications are provided throughout class to cultivate the action of the movement. The movement is purposeful, controlled, deep and often slow to invite participants on a journey of self-awareness and transformation. I use language to facilitate the mindfulness of movement. A variety of music genres are incorporated to generate an energetic ambience. My strategy is to instruct a class that is safe and effective. I strive to teach what students need and a bit of what they want, which are typically not the same. I do not teach to reinforce old imbalanced patterning and habits. My classes are designed for students to become aware of tendencies and to move more towards a balanced state (mentally and physically). I want to empower students to become the best version of themselves!

In my classes, you will quickly learn I am very passionate about our method. The mind/ body connection is what originally made me fall in love with barre! Since that connection is so valuable to me, I will regularly cue for you to be mindful of what your body is doing. I strive to give each of my clients a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for their workouts. In order to accomplish this, I provide very detailed cues for each movement with emphasis on your alignment and proper form. It is YOUR hour, and I want you to get the most out of the time we have together in the studio.

A Note From Michelle
Michelle Grensing is a triple certified health and nutrition coach through the Wellness Institute. Her specialization is combining lifestyle, exercise, attitude and nutrition for all ages including, expectant mothers, families with school aged children, and those seeking vitality in the second half of their life. She also has achieved the top position, National Marketing Director, with the Juice Plus Company. She received her degree in elementary education from Kansas State University while competing on the national stage as an All American cheerleader. She is a mom to 3 children, Aubrey, Gentry, and Tryce. She is happily married to Greg, an assistant men’s basketball coach at MTSU. She loves to serve her community through Junior League, Rutherford Cable, women’s bible studies, Last Call for Grace, and enjoys Barre 11 and playing tennis. Seeing others rise is truly what fuels her.
